Privacy Policy
This describes what the Tipuleemo app and this website actually collect, why, and who can see it. It’s written to match what the product does, not a generic template.
Effective August 9, 2026
Who this applies to
Tipuleemo Dental Lab & CAD CAM Centre operates a mobile app used by four kinds of accounts — lab admins, lab workers, delivery staff, and doctors at partner clinics — plus this marketing website. This policy covers both. The app is a business tool for our clinic network, not a consumer app open to the public; accounts are created by us or by doctors registering their own clinic.
Information we collect
What’s collected depends on the account’s role. Here’s everything the app stores, grouped by category.
Account information
Name, email, phone number (optional), role, and a securely hashed password. We never store passwords in plain text.
Clinic information
For doctor accounts: clinic name, address, phone number, and an optional Google Maps link, for each clinic location the doctor works from.
Order and case information
When a doctor places an order, we store the patient’s name (and an optional internal reference code), the type of case, and per-tooth clinical details — tooth number, jaw, restoration type, and material/shade where specified. This is entered directly by the doctor to fabricate the case correctly; we don’t collect it from patients ourselves.
Scheduling information
Dates and time slots booked for scanning and impression pickups.
Delivery location
For delivery staff accounts only: periodic GPS location while a delivery is actively in progress, so the lab and the relevant clinic can see delivery status. See Location data in detail below.
Sales lead information
For our field sales staff only: prospective clinic name, contact name, phone, and a GPS location captured at the time a lead is logged, as proof of an in-person visit. This doesn’t apply to doctor or clinic accounts.
Push notifications
A device push token, used to deliver order and schedule updates through Expo’s push notification service (see Third-party services below).
Diagnostics
Crash and error reports from the app, used to fix bugs. These are configured to exclude personal data (names, request contents) and are only collected from released app builds, never from development.
What we don’t collect
The app has no feature to upload patient photos, x-rays, or other images — clinical case references are text and structured tooth-chart data only. We also don’t process payments or store payment card details in the app; invoicing is generated for record-keeping, and payment is handled outside the app.
How we use this information
To run the core service: fabricating and tracking crown/restoration orders, scheduling scans and pickups, coordinating delivery, generating monthly invoices, and sending order-related notifications. We don’t sell any of this information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who can see your information
Access is scoped by role. Doctors see their own clinics’ orders and invoices only. Delivery staff see the orders assigned to them. Lab admins and workers see what’s needed to run production and fulfil orders across the network. Data isn’t shared across unrelated clinics.
Location data in detail
Location is only collected from delivery staff accounts, and only while a delivery is active. It is not a continuous background trace — the app records a location snapshot on a periodic interval (roughly every few minutes) during an active delivery, and stops as soon as the delivery ends. While active, the device shows a visible indicator that location is being shared, as required by iOS and Android. Location is used to show delivery progress to the lab and the receiving clinic, and is displayed on a map within the app (Apple Maps on iOS, Google Maps on Android).
Third-party services we use
We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers to run the app: Expo’s push notification service to deliver notifications, a crash-reporting service (with personal data stripped) to catch bugs, and standard map rendering on each device’s platform. We don’t use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
Data retention
We keep account, order, and invoice data for as long as an account is active and as needed for lab records and billing history. If you’d like your data reviewed or deleted, contact us using the details below and we’ll work with you on it.
Data security
Passwords are hashed, not stored in plain text. Access to the app requires authentication, and every request is checked against the account’s role before it can read or change data.
Children
This app is a business tool for dental clinics and lab staff. It isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 through it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we’ll update the effective date above.
